Our Story

A Kitchen Built On Family Recipes

Sarap Kusina started the way most Filipino recipes do — not written down anywhere, just carried around in someone's head.

A tita who cooks adobo without ever measuring anything. A lola whose sinigang recipe is really just "tantsahin mo na lang" (just eyeball it). A family group chat full of half-remembered ratios and "add more if kulang." We started writing it all down so it wouldn't disappear — and then figured other people might want it too.

Every recipe here is tested in a real home kitchen, not a professional one, because that's how most of us actually cook. We season to taste, we adjust for what's in the fridge, and we believe the best version of any Filipino dish is the one that reminds you of home.

Whether you grew up eating this food or you're cooking your first pot of adobo tonight, welcome to the kusina. Kain na.
